<div>PD-1 expression on mouse lymphocytes and EL4 cells before and after PMA stimulation. Flow cytometry analysis of PD-1 expression on mouse splenic lymphocytes (a) and EL4 lymphoma cells (b). PMA stimulation was performed by treatment with 100 ng/ml for 24 h. Samples were assessed for PD-1+ rate and increase in proportion of cells with strong PD-1+ staining (upper 10% at baseline) before and after PMA stimulation. Graphs on the right hand illustrate the mean and SD of proportion of strong PD-1+ cells obtained from triplicate samples per group.</div>
