The overall procedure of the proposed method consists of Feature Extraction and Postprocessing. Five feature maps are generated from the backbone (e.g., VGG16) and upsampled in the Feature Extraction step. The DPRs and the TS regions are adopted to reconstruct text instances in the postprocessing step.
