The relationships among separation, Laplace pressure, and volume of soap bubble bridge. (a) The relationship between Laplace pressure, volume, and separation and (b) the relationship between volume and Laplace pressure. The volume of the bubble decreases with the increase of Laplace pressure and increases with the increase of separation. It is different from the case of the liquid bridge, in which the volume of liquid bridge was considered to be constant.
