3-(3-Pyridylmethylidene)-2-indolinone Reduces the Severity of Colonic Injury in a Murine Model of Experimental Colitis

PMID prevents DSS-induced colitis in Nrf2-dependent manner. Nrf2−/− mice were received 22 mg PMID/kg BW per os for 7 days prior to colitis induction by 3% DSS and the weight loss was measured. Nrf2+/+ mice were used as control. During DSS exposure weight loss of the animals was recorded daily (a).
