Neuroprotective Effects of Isosteviol Sodium Injection on Acute Focal Cerebral Ischemia in Rats

Regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) before and during middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) and after reperfusion. The rCBF was monitored 5 min before the transient middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) and at 5 and 115 min during MCAO and 5 min after reperfusion. Monitoring of rCBF insured that the MCAO model was successful. Sham = sham group; vehicle = model group. The 1 mg/kg, 5 mg/kg, 10 mg/kg, and 20 mg/kg represent different treatment dosage groups. All of the data are shown as the mean ± the SEM ().
