Neuroprotective Effects of Isosteviol Sodium Injection on Acute Focal Cerebral Ischemia in Rats

<div>Effects of STVNA treatment in pMCAO. (a) The infarct volume of each group 24 hours after pMCAO. The volume was greatly decreased in rats treated with STVNA administered 4 hours after ischemia. (b) Neurological scores after permanent middle cerebral artery occlusion (pMCAO) in different groups with STVNA administered at 0, 2, 4, and 6 hours after ischemia. The neurological scores were greatly lowered in animals to which STVNA was administered 4 h after ischemia.
