THSG inhibited the Ang II-induced senescence of NRK-52E rat renal tubular epithelial cells. Cells were stimulated with or without Ang II (100 nmol/L) for 4 days and treated with or without THSG for 4 days. Subsequently, cells were stained using a β-galactosidase senescence assay kit. More than 200 cells were counted in each sample, and the proportion of senescent cells was calculated ( per group). Data are expressed as mean ± SD. versus control group; versus Ang II-stimulated group.
