MaR 1 markedly inhibited production of IL-6, IL-1β, TNF-α, and MCP-1 in serum and MPO in liver tissue but increased IL-10 production in serum. Levels of IL-6 (a), TNF-α (b), IL-10 (c), IL-1β (d), and MCP-1 (e) in serum were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. MPO activity (f) was measured in CCl4-intoxicated mice.
