The effects of NAC, CsA, and LY on MGO-induced HUVEC apoptosis. (a) HUVECs were pretreated with NAC (10 mM), CsA (1 μM), or vehicle control for 2 h, followed by stimulation with MGO (200 μM) for 24 h. (b) HUVECs were pretreated with PD (100 μM), PD (100 μM) + LY (50 μM), or vehicle control for 2 h, followed by stimulation with MGO (200 μM) for 24 h. Then cell apoptosis was analyzed by flow cytometry based on Annexin V-FITC/PI double staining. Representative images of cell population distribution are shown, and quantitative assessment of 3 independent experiments was performed.
