Rat primary astrocyte cultures were exposed to 1 mM MG and 0.4 mM AG at 24 h. Percentages of glyoxalase 1 activity and GSH content are shown. Each value represents mean ± standard error of five independent experiments performed in triplicate, assuming the control value as 100%.
