Iron intracellular concentration in D-17 cells measured by atomic absorption spectrometer. For each treatment, the same concentration of the specific vehicle was used as the control, DMSO for artemisinin and a solution of 65% ethanol for hydroalcoholic extract. Data are reported as the from three independent experiments (), each performed in quintuplicate.
