Genipin Ameliorates Carbon Tetrachloride-Induced Liver Injury in Mice via the Concomitant Inhibition of Inflammation and Induction of Autophagy

<div>Effect of genipin and 3-MA on serum ALT activity (a), AST activity (b), H&amp;E staining (c), and histological score (d). Mice were intraperitoneally injected a mixture of CCl<sub>4</sub> (50%) and oil (50%) at a dose of 2 ml·kg<sup>-1</sup> body weight. Mice received an intravenous injection of 2.5 mg·kg<sup>-1</sup> genipin 2 h before CCl<sub>4</sub> exposure. Mice were pretreated with 3-MA before genipin.
