Genipin Ameliorates Carbon Tetrachloride-Induced Liver Injury in Mice via the Concomitant Inhibition of Inflammation and Induction of Autophagy

<div>Effect of genipin and/or 3-MA on mTOR (a) and p-JNK, p-p38, and p-ERK (b) protein expressions at 48 h after CCl<sub>4</sub> exposure. Mice were intraperitoneally injected a mixture of CCl<sub>4</sub> (50%) and oil (50%) at a dose of 2 ml·kg<sup>-1</sup> body weight. Mice received an intravenous injection of 2.5 mg·kg<sup>-1</sup> genipin 2 h before CCl<sub>4</sub> exposure. Mice were pretreated with 3-MA before genipin.
