MnTE-2-PyP Attenuates TGF-β-Induced Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition of Colorectal Cancer Cells by Inhibiting the Smad2/3 Signaling Pathway

MnTE-2-PyP inhibits colorectal cancer cell migration and invasion. (a) The SW480 cells were pretreated with MnTE-2-PyP (30 μM) for 12 h and then treated with TGF-β (5 ng/ml) for 24 h. Wound healing assays showed that MnTE-2-PyP inhibited TGF-β-induced cell migration. (b) The transwell assays showed that TGF-β-induced migration and invasion were also reduced with MnTE-2-PyP treatment.
