MnTE-2-PyP Attenuates TGF-<i>β</i>-Induced Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition of Colorectal Cancer Cells by Inhibiting the Smad2/3 Signaling Pathway

<div>MnTE-2-PyP inhibits colorectal cancer cell migration and invasion. (a) The SW480 cells were pretreated with MnTE-2-PyP (30 <i>μ</i>M) for 12 h and then treated with TGF-<i>β</i> (5 ng/ml) for 24 h. Wound healing assays showed that MnTE-2-PyP inhibited TGF-<i>β</i>-induced cell migration. (b) The transwell assays showed that TGF-<i>β</i>-induced migration and invasion were also reduced with MnTE-2-PyP treatment.</div>
