Cardioprotective Effects of Taurisolo® in Cardiomyoblast H9c2 Cells under High-Glucose and Trimethylamine N-Oxide Treatment via De Novo Sphingolipid Synthesis
Figure 3
Taurisolo® (Tau) increase LC3II expression and counteract high levels of MnSOD. H9c2 cells were grown in standard (5.5 mM Glu NG-H9c2) and high glucose (44 mM Glu, HG9c2) condition. The NG and HG-H9c2 cells were treated, for 72 h with Tau (0.5 μg/μL), TMAO (50 μM), and TMAO-Tau combination. (a) Bar graphs show densitometrically quantified LC3II, MnSOD with respect to house-keeping GAPDH in NG (5.5 mM glucose) and HG-H9c2 cells. Representative immunoblots of Tau treated TNG-H9c2 (b) and THG-H9c2 cells (c). Each data point is the average of triplicate measurements, with each experiment performed in triplicate. Results are expressed as .
