Overexpression of the Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor (Ahr) Mediates an Oxidative Stress Response following Injection of Fine Particulate Matter in the Temporal Cortex

<div>Comparisons of the mRNA expression levels of cytochrome P450 1A1 (<i>CYP1A1</i>), <i>CYP1B1</i>, inducible nitric oxide synthase (<i>iNOS)</i>, and aryl hydrocarbon receptor (<i>Ahr)</i> between saline and PM<sub>2.5</sub> groups. The PM<sub>2.5</sub> group showed higher mRNA expression levels of <i>CYP1A1</i>, <i>CYP1B1</i>, <i>iNOS</i>, and <i>Ahr</i> in the ipsilateral side of PM<sub>2.5</sub> injections.
