In vivo effects of GPX2 expression in DDP resistance. Cells ( cells/100 μL PBS) were subcutaneously inoculated into the right flank of BALB/c nu/nu mice, and the animals were randomly separated into 4 groups (6 per group) according to which cells they were inoculated with. The mice were intraperitoneally injected with a suspension of PBS containing DDP (2.5 mg/kg) twice per week, after the tumor volume grew to ≈100 mm³. (a) The mice were sacrificed, and the tumors were isolated after 4 weeks. (b) The tumor size was monitored every 3 days after cells implantation. (c) Hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining was performed, and GPX2 protein was detected by immunohistochemistry (magnification ×200). .
