Effects of mild hyperthermia and recovery on the mRNA levels of HSPs in young and senescent fibroblast cells. Cells were treated with mild hyperthermia at 42°C for 1 h and used immediately for analysis or cultured at 37°C for 3 h as described in Materials and Methods. mRNA levels of HSP40 (a) and HSP70 (b) were measured by RT-PCR and normalized to GAPDH.
