Effects of CPM on the in PC12 cells (×100). Cells were pretreated with CPM (60, 80, and 100 μg/mL) for 2 h and then incubated in the presence of H₂O₂ (200 μM) for 4 h. was measured using a JC-1 assay kit and observed using a laser confocal microscopy under a 100x microscope. The red fluorescence indicates that the of the cell is in the normal state, and the JC-1 probe aggregates in the mitochondrial matrix to form a polymer. The green fluorescence indicates that the of the cell decreased, and the JC-1 probe exists in the form of a monomer.
