H9c2 cells were seeded on glass slides for 24 h. After the treatment with 8 mM (a) or 32 mM (b) glucose in both normoxia condition and hypoxia conditions, in the presence and absence of 1400 W (12.5 μM), cells were stained as described in Materials and Methods. The analyses were performed with a Zeiss LSM 510 microscope equipped with a plan-apochromat objective X63 (NA 1.4) in oil immersion. 50 μm scale bar is referred to all images shown.
