Hazard ratio for incident digestive cancers in different subgroups among the overall population by SD quartile. Subgroup analyses by age, gender, diabetes mellitus, and body mass index were presented. In this analysis, HR was adjusted for age, gender, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, baseline fasting plasma glucose levels, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, body mass index, antihypertensive medications, antidiabetic medications, current smoking, drinking, physical exercise, and family history of cancer (model 3).
