The line going through the apex of the superior semicircular canal and the vestibular aqueduct midpoint crosses the electrode array at the estimated round window (RW). (a) The line going through the RW to the center of first turn of the spiral is used as the 0-reference line. (b) In cases with deeper electrode insertion depth, the line going through the RW to the center of second turn is used as the 360-reference line.
