Pharyngeal transit time
Time from first frame of movement of the bolus into the oropharynx to when the tail of the bolus passes the level of cervical vertebra 4.
Interswallow interval
Time between the onset of two consecutive swallows.
Swallow rate
Ratio of number of swallows to duration of feeding bout.
Swallow onset delay
Time between maximum gape of previous jaw cycle and onset of swallow inserted within that cycle. Categorised by jaw cycle type (chewing or biting/ingestion).
