Buspirone Induces Weight Loss and Normalization of Blood Pressure via the Stimulation of PPAR<i>δ</i> Dependent Energy Producing Pathway in Spontaneously Hypertensive Rats

<div>Western blot analyses for PPAR<i>δ</i>, p-AMPK, and PGC-1<i>α</i> in C<sub>2</sub>C<sub>12</sub> cells treated with buspirone 100 <i>μ</i>M. Buspirone increased the protein levels for PPAR<i>δ</i> (a), p-AMPK (b), and PGC-1<i>α</i> (c) compared to untreated control in C<sub>2</sub>C<sub>12</sub> myotubes.
