Serum Analysis in Patients with Temporomandibular Disorders: A Controlled Cross-Sectional Study in Norway

Serum analyses resulted in nineteen different determinants common in diagnostics. Second column shows normal values for women and men at all ages. Most TMD patients and controls had values within normal biologic range. TMD patients had significantly higher values of hemoglobin (), cobalamin (), albumin (), PTH (), and vitamin D () and significantly lower values of creatinine () and potassium () compared to controls.
