Effects of Curcumin Treatment in a Diabetic Neuropathic Pain Model of Rats: Involvement of c-Jun N-Terminal Kinase Located in the Astrocytes and Neurons of the Dorsal Root Ganglion

<div>Immunohistochemistry for pJNK (red, pJNK antibody) expression in the neurons of the dorsal root ganglion (DRG) (green, NF200 antibody). Treatment of streptozotocin- (STZ-) induced diabetic neuropathic pain rats (STZ + CMN50) with 50 mg/kg/day of curcumin (CMN) for 4 consecutive weeks normalized pJNK expression in the neurons of the DRG.
