Tension measurement equipment: isometric muscle tension is recorded with a strain gauge system. A 5-0 silk suture is applied to the muscle tendon and tied around the strain gauge probe during strabismus surgery. Patient made saccadic movements with the nonrecorded eye (from [67]).
