Comparison of two nonpillar mining methods. (a) No integrated presplitting blasting technology is used, the thick and hard roof structure will cause the roof cantilever to be larger, and the roof often fails to collapse in time after mining, which causes greater safety hazards to the roadway. (b) Integrated presplitting blasting technology is used, which will weaken the strength of the roof and reduce the span of the roof and the pressure when it collapses.
