The impact of distance to nearest road and pond size on the number of waterfowl observed utilizing retention ponds associated with commercial poultry farms. Species are broken into three groups: dabbling ducks (blue-winged teal, gadwall, mallard, northern pintail, northern shoveler), diving ducks (bufflehead, hooded merganser, and ruddy duck), and other waterfowl (Canada goose and wood duck).
