Chitinase Genes LbCHI31 and LbCHI32 from Limonium bicolor Were Successfully Expressed in Escherichia coli and Exhibit Recombinant Chitinase Activities

Effects of exposure to different metal ions on the activities of four different recombinases. Several different reaction buffers were prepared, each spiked with 5 mmol L−1 of each metal ion. The chitinase activities were measured at 37°C for 20 min. Con: control; the activities of inrCHI31, exrCHI31, inrCHI32, and exrCHI32 were measured under normal reaction conditions without any additional ions. The experiments were performed three times. Different letters above the columns indicated a significant difference as determined by Duncan’s multiple comparisons test ().
