The Effect of an Extract and Fractions of Date Pits on Some Plasma Constituents, Reproductive Hormones, and Testicular Histology in Male Mice

<div>Effect of date pit extracts on testosterone, luteinizing hormone (LH), and estradiol levels in mice. The column and vertical bar represent the mean ± SEM (<i>n</i> = 6). Extracts (100 mg/kg): D1: lyophilized; D2: nonpolar fraction; and D3: polar fraction. These extracts were given to mice throughout the experiment by oral gavage. On treatment day 28, the mice were sacrificed for plasma collection. Con: control.
