The error performances of the proposed (496,248) LDPC cycle code over GF (64), the comparable (504,252) irregular QC-LDPC code over GF (64) constructed from finite field GF (64) in [15], and (2,4)-regular (496,248) LDPC code over GF (64) constructed based on the progressive edge-growth (PEG) algorithm in [46]. The transmissions on the BPSK modulated AWGN channel are assumed.
