About this Journal
Aims & scope
Polymer crystallization remains a critical challenge in polymer science, fundamentally important in areas as diverse as electronics, biological systems, and energy materials. It is with this in mind that Polymer Crystallization is established, providing a new platform to serve both the scientific and engineering communities.
Polymer Crystallization is the first international journal solely devoted to polymer crystallization research. The Journal will publish original research as well as comprehensive review articles on all aspects of polymer crystallization, including (but not limited to):
- nucleation kinetics and mechanisms
- nucleating agents
- isothermal crystallization kinetics
- transcrystallinity
- co-crystallization
- spherulitic morphology and kinetics
- morphology
- crystallization of polymer composites
- effects of additives on polymeric materials
- flow-induced crystallization
- crystallization during processing
- crystallization at surfaces and interfaces
- crystallization under confinement
- stereocomplexes
- polymorphism
- epitaxial nucleation
- melt crystallization
- thin film crystallization
- crystallization from solution
- crystallization in multiphasic systems
- modelling and simulation of nucleation and crystallization
