In vivo cartilage repair at 4, 6, and 8 weeks after transplantation. At 4 weeks after transplantation in the M group, osteochondral defects in the patellar groove of the femur were covered by hyaline-like cartilage; however, the surface of cartilage was irregularity (a). At 6 and 8 weeks, defects were also covered by hyaline-like cartilage, and the surface was smooth (b and c).
