MnDPDP: structure, transmetallation, and stability. In MnDPDP 3 anionic sites are balanced by 3 sodium ions. MW: MnDPDP ∼680 Da, MnPLED ∼520 Da. Transmetallation mainly by zinc (Zn2+) releases Mn2+. The enclosed table presents log conditional stability constants for metal complexes with DPDP, PLED, HSA (human serum albumin), and EDTA (ethylene-diamine tetra-acetic acid).
