Sample holder. The sample holder, made of PMMA, was able to accommodate up to six XCA with a volume of 175 µL. There was a distance of 0.5 cm between wells. The circumferences of the wells were delineated with dashed lines to make them more noticeable. The position of the ionization chamber was kept the same in all the exposures.
