These experiments were conducted in two HCC cell lines, Hep 3B2.1-7 and HepG2. (c, d) The CCK-8 assay reveals reduced cell proliferation viability in both Hep 3B2.1-7 and HepG2 cell lines following tesmin knockdown compared to control cells treated with scrambled shRNA. (e) Matrigel Transwell assay results indicate that tesmin knockdown by shRNAs impair the invasion capacities of both Hep 3B2.1-7 and HepG2 cell lines. (f) Analysis of MTL5 gene levels suggests potential correlations with immune activation, particularly the stromal score, in HCC according to the TCGA dataset.
