Both DOECs and HaCaT cells express immunoreactivity for the keratinocyte marker cytokeratin. (a–d) DOECs (a, b) were transferred to microscope slides by cytospin, and HaCaT cells (c, d) were cultured on coverslips. Cells were fixed and double stained for the nuclear marker DAPI (a, c) and for cytokeratin immunoreactivity (b, d). The bar in panel (b) represents 150 μm for all panels. Each sample was analyzed in duplicate.
