PBMCs were stimulated with CRP (5, 10, or 20 mg/L) or TNF-α (25, 50, or 100 ng/mL) for 24 hours. (a) PAPP-A mRNA were measured using RT-PCR. (b) PAPP-A protein levels were measured by Western blotting. (c) Culture media was collected for analysis of PAPP-A concentrations by ultrasensitive ELISA.
