(c) and (d) There was a highly significant increase in the expression of JAK2 and IL-23R in patients with UC and CD as compared to healthy controls ( , for both comparisons), but no significant difference was observed between UC and CD patients. The level of mRNA expression was normalized to that of β-actin mRNA expression. Horizontal lines represent median values for each group and NS indicate no significance.
