Cockroach Allergen Bla g 7 Promotes TIM4 Expression in Dendritic Cells Leading to Th2 Polarization

rBla g 7 induced the expression of TIM4 in dendritic cells (DCs). Various concentrations of rBla g 7 or LPS (100 ng/mL) were incubated with DCs for 48 h at 37°C. (a) Western blot analysis of TIM4 expression in DCs, (b) density analysis of TIM4 expression in Western blot, and (c) real-time PCR to determine the relative expression of TIM4 mRNA in DCs. The expression values were normalized against GAPDH mRNA, and relative gene expression was determined by the 2^−ΔΔct method. The data were represented as the mean ± SEM for four separate experiments. ^∗𝑃<0.05 in comparison with medium alone control. ^†𝑃<0.05 compared with the response to the corresponding uninhibited control.
