Inhibiting HMGB1 with Glycyrrhizic Acid Protects Brain Injury after DAI via Its Anti-Inflammatory Effect

Dynamic expression of HMGB1 and neuronal apoptosis in rat brains after DAI. HMGB1 was significantly decreased in the first 48 h, with a transient increase at 12 h after DAI (a).
