Induction of Mast Cell Accumulation by Tryptase via a Protease Activated Receptor-2 and ICAM-1 Dependent Mechanism

Figure 6

Induction of trans-endothelium migration of mast cells in vitro by tryptase. Various concentrations of tryptase (Trypt, μg/mL) with or without leupeptin (Leup, μg/mL) or anti-human ICAM-1 antibody (Ab) were added in chambers of E-16-well plates, respectively, and incubated for 1 h. Cells in the lower chamber were collected for flow cytometric analysis of HMC-1 mast cells. N-formyl-methionyl-leucyl-phenylalanine (fMLP) was used as positive control. Values shown are mean ± SEM for four independent experiments. compared with the response to medium alone control. compared with the response to the corresponding stimulus alone.
