PFS suppressed the expression of inflammatory cytokines. AIA was induced as detailed in Methods. Arthritic rats were treated with 50 mg/kg PFS for 35 days. Day 28: splenocytes were harvested for measuring cytokine expression by quantitative RT-PCR.
