For analyzing monocytes/macrophages in blood, mononuclear cells were first identified on the basis of low FSC and SSC. CD45 mononuclear cells were gated and cells expressing F4/80 were further analyzed. Monocyte subpopulations were presented as percentages of and among CD45 F4/80 mononuclear cells. Population of neutrophils is presented as percentage of in CD45⁺ cells.
