Autophagy-associated upregulation of β-amyloid and APP. Immunocytochemical analysis of human myoblasts which were exposed to IL-1β and IFN-γ for 48 hours displayed increased signals of thioflavin-S, β-amyloid, and APP. This was reversed after inhibition of autophagy via 3-MA.
