EGFR activation is required in Ang II-induced inflammation in vascular smooth muscle cells. After being pretreated with selective EGFR inhibitor AG1478 (5 μmol/l) for 30 minutes, vascular smooth muscle cells were then stimulated with 100 nmol/l Ang II for 24 hours.
