GSS inhibit LPS-induced IL-6 expression in ECs via Myd88/NF-κB signaling pathway. (a) After transfection with Myd88 siRNA for 48 hours, ECs were treated with GSS for another 2 hours prior to the stimulation of LPS; the expression of IL-6 was determined by RT-PCR. Similarly, ECs were pretreated with BAY11-7082 (10 μmol/l) and GSS for 2 hours and then incubated with LPS; the IL-6 expression was checked by RT-PCR. (b) The RT-qPCR results of IL-6 was presented as a histogram.
