Inhibition of Cerebral High-Mobility Group Box 1 Protein Attenuates Multiple Organ Damage and Improves T Cell-Mediated Immunity in Septic Rats

<div>Time-dependent effects of an ICV injection of BoxA on the differentiation of T cells during the course of sepsis. The differentiation of T lymphocytes was analysed based on the ratio IFN-<i>γ</i>/IL-4. Interferon-<i>γ</i> (IFN-<i>γ</i>) and interleukin-4 (IL-4) protein and mRNA levels were quantified by ELISA and qPCR, respectively.
