Correlation between Plasma Macrophage Migration Inhibitory Factor Levels and Long-Term Prognosis in Patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction Complicated with Diabetes

(a) Kaplan-Meier survival analysis shows a significantly increased risk of major adverse cardiovascular and cerebral events (MACCE) in the patients with nondiabetes ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) with plasma at presentation; (b) in the diabetes STEMI group, the patients with had no significant difference in the risk of MACCE compared to the patients with low MIF levels.
